What is an end-of-life animal doula?

  • Doulas provide non-medical support, advocacy, and education to a client or family. Family refers to spouse, partner, family member(s), or friend who the client wishes to include. I am independent, self-employed, insured, and work for the client or family, not a specific animal hospital, clinic, hospice, or palliative care service. I do not practice under any medical licenses. I am based out of Charlotte, NC.

How much do you charge?

  • Free Discovery Session (20 minutes)

  • $60 hourly

  • Custom packages are created upon request

  • Sliding scales available based on need

Are appointments in person or virtual?

  • Discovery Sessions are held virtually

  • Appointments are held virtually and in person depending on preference of the client

  • Located in the Charlotte Metro area

Do you administer medicine?

  • No, my role is to companion you, and my support is provided as a non-medical complementary resource and is not meant to replace veterinary care. Please reach out to your veterinary professional with any questions or concerns first. 

Are your services only for cats and dogs?

  • I am here to support animals and their guardians of all species and ages.
